Milky Way Prince is first person interactive visual novel about an abusive relationship with a partner who suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder. It’s a Love/Erotic story, between a guy and a shooting star, that follows players’ decisions. The main themes are idealisation and self annihilation/ sacrifice for the beloved one. My idea was to create an immersive experience where the player is asked to try to understand the dynamics of this unusual relationship.

Lorenzo Redaelli, 24 yo from Italy.  He graduated in Cinema and New Media at IULM University of Milan and he’s now attending a Master Degree in Game Design. He’s always been into indie media projects (from music, with his band, to cinema, made a movie when he was 21, and illustration, you can find his works on Instagram at @eye_guys). He wanted to create a game about this topic after having a similar personal experience a year ago.
