Sports in video games are represented either through simulators or as management games. There is a rich literature on sport as an interesting subject for anthropological, sociological and economical analysis. These studies present sport and football in particular as a rich expressive domain; this is the perspective that inspired Football Drama’s design, writing and build up which we will present.

Pietro Polsinelli is a writer, game designer and developer, now working on applied (a.k.a. educational) and commercial games. He is the founder and director of Open Lab Games, a small development studio based in Florence, Italy.
